Lyle is currently attending the full-time MBA program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. Electives he’s taken include Brand Management, Business Plan Development, Market Entry Strategy, Global Trends, and Management in the Age of AI.
Karen Bass, the current mayor of Los Angeles and first woman elected to the position, spoke at his graduation.




Undergrad
Lyle attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine from September 2012 until graduation in May 2016. There he majored in Mathematics, minored in History, and concentrated in Philosophy. He spent the Winter Semester of 2015 abroad in New Zealand, at the University of Auckland.
Favorite math classes of Lyle’s include Topology, Abstract Algebra, and Complex Analysis. In other subjects, he especially enjoyed Philosophy of Mind, Biomedical Ethics, Early Modern Europe, China in Revolution, and Innovations in Mapping.
Bates is a private liberal arts college that was founded by abolitionists in 1855. The late civil rights leader and congressman John Lewis spoke at Lyle’s graduation in 2016.




High School
Starting as a freshman in the Fall of 2008, Lyle attended Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Connecticut for high school until his graduation in June 2012. He held campus leadership positions both residentially as a Prefect and Resident Assistant and athletically as captain of the Varsity Football Team. In school, he took Chinese all four years and additionally most enjoyed AP Calculus BC as well as English electives such as Literature of the Sea, Shakespeare, and Satire.
Loomis was chartered in 1874 by five siblings. Their children had all passed away, so they created Loomis as a gift to the children of others.









Grade School
The Seebeck Family moved to Chicago in August 2001, at which point Lyle started at the Near North Montessori School. In 2006, he left NNMS to complete middle school at the Whitney Young Academic Center.
Named after the civil rights activist, Whitney Young has produced such notable alums as Michelle Obama.
